Hello Everyone! Welcome to Blogmas Day 20!
Now, as I’ve said before Christmas is a time for being merry and eating food. You know the saying, ‘Eat, drink and be merry’! So that’s just what people do. But if you have any dietary requirements it can be difficult to enjoy the festive treats, so I’ve compiled a list of my favourite festive vegan recipes! Now, I’m not a vegan, or even a vegetarian, but I thought “Why not include vegan treats?” so here I am.
- Easy Vegan Chocolate Cake!
The name just sounds delicious, and the picture looks even better! As well as being vegan it’s also gluten-free, so it’s perfect for this who can’t eat gluten! So this recipe takes around an hour to make, and has steps for the main cake, as well as the frosting. It involves interesting ingredients such as Avocado, and just looks to die for! It’s definitely one to try out this Christmas, as it serves 12-16 so would be perfect for that Christmas party you’re hosting (or going to)!
- Vegan Gingerbread Men
This recipe is a more modern, interesting take on the traditional Gingerbread. It’s dairy-free and egg-free, with ingredients like Chia seeds, aquafaba (water from the can of chickpeas) and coconut oil. All together, the gingerbread men take around an hour to prepare, bake and decorate! I love the idea of vegan gingerbread, as it’s an animal friendly version of a traditional Christmas biscuit.
- Rudolph’s Rocket Fuel
I absolutely love the idea of this recipe! It’s such a cute and festive take on regular vegetable soup, and it’s a great way to get the children eating vegetables! This recipe can be found on Jamie Oliver’s website, and pretty much includes all of your favourite veg! Its such an incredibly simple recipe, you wouldn’t believe it. I would definitely recommend warm bread and butter with Rudolph’s Rocket Fuel.
