WHAT’S IN MY BAG – winter edition

Hello everybody, and welcome back to my little corner of the internet! Merry Blogmas, day 5!

So I thought I would give you a little insight, as to what I carry around with me on a daily basis. In winter, I feel as though the contents of my backpack is different to what it is in summer, and I have no idea why.

So, here is my beloved backpack. I love this so much, the colour, its size, everything. It’s such a pretty autumnal backpack which works really well in the winter as well. Here’s a fun fact, (it’s not fun at all) I got this bag in a sale at Primark for £5, an absolute bargain.

Right, lets move on to the purpose of this post. What’s actually in my bag.  Not gonna lie, there were several hair bobbles and hair grips at the bottom of my bag, but for now, we’re just gonna ignore that…

So to begin with, now that the weather is starting to take a turn, it’s pretty wise to carry an umbrella with me everywhere so that I don’t end up getting caught out in the rain. Mine is a simple black one from Primark (I think) and it’s great because it pretty much goes with anything, but mainly, it keeps you dry!

Next up, we have my life in a book. My bullet journal. I started bullet journaling in August and honestly, my life has never been more organised. With everything I’ve got going on, it keeps me so organised so I can plan ahead and know what I’m doing this time next month. So convenient. Then to go with my journal, I have my pens! Both my journal and pens are from Amazon, my journal is a lemome (I think that’s how you spell it?) but they’re great quality.

So I then have my little skincare bits, which are so important during winter. I find my lips and hands get soooo dry because of the cold wind and rain. Soooo I keep a little tub of Carmex lip balm, and this is my saviour, it’s so moisturising and keeps my lips nice and soft. My hand cream is the strawberry one from The Body Shop and it smells INCREDIBLE! Honestly, I can’t get enough of it, and it stops my hands from getting even remotely dry! I’d definitely recommend these two little products!

Finally, we just have a few standard ‘bits and bobs’, such as a banana to keep going during the day, my headphones (because who, on earth, can live without their headphones), and probably the most important part, my apartment keys, for obvious reasons. Depending on the weather, I will sometimes carry around a cute little bobble hat.

Thanks for reading, what’s in your backpack?
