The Christmas Tag!

Hello everybody, welcome back to my little corner of the internet!

Merry Blogmas, Day 4!  To get us all into the Christmas spirit I thought I would make today’s post a bit more festive than usual. It is – The Christmas Tag! A pretty simple, but fun little tag ready for the real christmassy business to begin! So grab yourself a hot beverage, curl up on the sofa with a blanket, and prepare yourself for some festive shiz!

  1. What is your favourite Christmas movie?

Honestly, I love a LOT of Christmas movies, so if I had to pick a favourite it would have to be Arthur Christmas… I think. Or The Grinch… or ELF. One of those three.

2.  Have you ever had a white Christmas?

As far as I can remember, no. But I’m pretty sure we had white christmases when I was really young. We’ve definitely had snow in December, just not a blanket of snow on Christmas Day. Which sucks because a white Christmas would be perfect.

3. Where do you usually spend Christmas?

I have always spent the festive season with my family, most of the time at home, but on the rare occasion we would celebrate Christmas in Scotland with our Grandparents, which is always lovely. This year is a bit different, because I’ll be spending my first Christmas away from my family, but instead I will be with my boyfriend and his family. Expect a blog post about the experience…

4. Favourite Christmas songs?

Aahhh I have so many, I LOVE ‘The Polar Express’ from the film, also, ‘All I want for Christmas’ by Mariah, or the super festive edition with Justin Bieber. I love the classics, and the Michael Buble album. So um, pretty much every Christmas song out there. I’m a very festive person, what can I say!

5. Do you open any presents on Christmas Eve?

As a child, me and my siblings all got to open one present each, that our parents picked out. Now the reason behind this, is actually super sweet. So my mum and dad actually got married on Christmas Eve, so to celebrate we all got to open a gift. All though, now that we’re all older and my brothers and sister have moved out, I don’t get to open any on Christmas Eve. Buuuuuut that just means more surprises in the morning!

6. Can you name all of Santa’s reindeer?

Dancer, Dasher, Prancer, Donner, Vixen, Comet, Cupid, and Rudolph… Is that all of them?

7. What traditions do you look forward to?

Oooh, my first Christmas being with Nathan was in 2015 when a new tradition began. We went swimming on Christmas Eve, yep you read that right, swimming on Christmas Eve. Who would have thought? We just decided to go for a swim, and the rest was history.

8.  Real or Fake tree?

As fake as my tan…

9. Be Honest… Do you prefer receiving gifts, or giving gifts?

When I was younger, I loved receiving gifts, I just felt so spoilt and grateful. But over the past few years I’ve grown a love for giving gifts, nothing beats the happiness you see on their face! Its such a warming feeling, especially if its a great gift!

10. Where is your dream place to visit at Christmas Time?

Lapland, hands down. Without a doubt. Anywhere with snow, reindeer and mega Christmas spirit. Also, Disney World. They’re the two places I dream of visiting at Christmas, and hopefully one day, I will be able to!

So that is the Christmas tag, done and dusted!

Thank you so much for reading!

I hope you’re having the most fabulous of December’s,

Kelsey x
