Hello Again!

So I feel like Autumn is well and truly underway! The smell of pumpkin-spice lattes is in the air, you can hear the crisp crunch of leaves and the air is somewhat chillier. Which is why I’ve decided to post an Autumnal make up look! I feel like its relatively subtle, but also gives off those autumnal vibes that everybody loves.

If you’re good with eyeshadow, and makeup in general, it would probably take 15-20 minutes to complete this look. But because I’m not that great with makeup, it took me 30-45 minutes…

For this look, I decided to go for the typical colours you would see in Autumn, such as burnt orange and browns, using a mix of both shimmer and matte eyeshadows.

The products I used were:

  • E.L.F Foundation – fair/light
  • L’OREAL Lumi Magique – Rose Porcelain
  • PS… My Perfect Colour, liquid concealer – porcelain
  • E.L.F Finishing Powder – fair/light
  • Revolution Ultra Sculpt & Contour Kit – Ultra Fair C01
  • Revolution Rainbow Highlighter
  • Revolution Eye Shadow Palette – Matte 18 edit
  • Revolution Eye Shadow Palette – Night Shimmers
  • E.L.F Lengthening and volumizing mascara
  • Moisturising Lipstick from New Look – Dark Raspberry

(Just incase you couldn’t tell… I really like Makeup Revolution!)

The great thing about an autumn-inspired makeup look, is that it can be created with any of your favourite products! You can pick 3 of your favourite autumn colours, from your eyeshadow palette, and blend them all together. Id recommend using the lightest colour in the corner of your eye and then blending out into the darker colours. It’s also quite a nice touch if you take the main colour of your eyeshadow, and put it just under your eye, to create a fuller, and brighter look. These kind of colours really compliment people with blue eyes, as the orange and blue contrast, and make the eyes really stand out!

I feel as though some winged eyeliner would really tie this look together! Buuuutttt I can not do winged eyeliner to save my life! It’s something I’m working on, so I’ll get back to you when I can do it.. If you can do a pretty sleek cat-eye then I would recommend it, because it really completes the look.
